PISTON or BLADDER-expanders deliver positive-displacement, are lower cost and higher efficiency vs using a turbine-expanders. The MOREAMPS Power Box is configured to draw energy from "low-grade" heat sources below 250C thermal “waste heat energy or solar heat energy” converting into mechanical work and produce clean electricity (and heating).
The HEART of MOREAMPS Power Box patent is the use of “pneumatic hydraulic converter/s” either piston or bladder-expanders (bladder for heat sources below 110C and working fluid R134a (HFO-1234ze)) using the Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) system, below 250C a piston-expander is using working fluid R245fa. The "OTELLO™ Power Box" is a waste heat recovery power generation system using the proven Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) system but with Piston or Bladder-expander/s, deliver positive-displacement, higher efficiencies vs. Using a turbine and designed using industrial components lowers the capital costs.
