The Otellosystem is a waste heat recovery power generation system currently under development by International Innovations Limited (IIL), and its collaborative partners Olaer. The Otellotechnology is the latest addition to the family of waste heat recovery and power generation systems owned by IIL. The Otello system is a method for converting energy from a heat source into a more useful form, such as electricity. Otellohas been designed to recover energy from low temperature heat sources in the range +31oC to +150oC.

The feature of the MOREAMPS (Amps Family heat engines) is that they are configured to draw energy from "low-grade" heat sources at temperatures from approximately 72 oC to 200 oC. This greatly widens the potential operating range of patents, compared to most existing technology. At these low temperatures, efficiency (the proportion of energy recovered from the heat source and converted into electricity) is typically very low, meaning that it has, in the past, been difficult to justify the use of low grade heat sources from an economic point of view.

In today's automotive transmission designs, technologies are evolving rapidly as the world's leading manufacturers seek better fuel economy, lower emissions and higher performance. The largest current change is in the generation of transmission's known as Automated Manual Transmissions (AMT's). Our QISS™ transmission is an improved form of AMT's.

Smartmatic™ delivers a solution that fits ALL the requirements of a Next Generation Automatic transmission, something that competitive transmissions seen so far cannot claim. The Smartmatic™ retains the basic manual (layshaft) transmission layout but replaces the gear shifting forks, dog clutches and synchro rings with a compact "multi-cone" gear selector on each gear. It is also feasible to make the selector on 1st and reverse gears large enough to double as a launch clutch, thus removing the need for a conventional clutch...
